A bit
about me.

Hello, I’m Alexa — a freelance graphic designer originally from Edinburgh. Since graduating from the Glasgow School of Art in 2011, I’ve spent the past fourteen years working across design and advertising agencies in London and further afield, collaborating with clients of every size — from ambitious start-ups to global brands.

My experience includes working on campaigns and design projects for household names such as Hovis, Danone and Nutella; drinks brands including San Miguel, Hendrick’s and The Dalmore Whisky; and organisations such as Water Aid, the NHS and Give Blood. I’ve also worked with beauty / high-street brands like Beauty Pie, The Body Shop and Holland & Barrett.

I’m increasingly drawn to projects that put people and positive impact at the centre. Recent work includes Campo Culture, a regenerative agriculture project rooted in sustainability and connection to nature. And my time with Mozilla Foundation, whose people-first, open-web mission aligns with my interest in design that supports meaningful, thoughtful progress.

My skillset spans Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and XD, covering branding and visual identity, digital design, motion, print, illustration, templates and artworking. Whatever the format, my focus is the same: well-crafted design that feels clear, considered and that connects.

And when I’m not at my Mac, I’m exploring my creativity through painting or ceramics, hiking somewhere beautiful or catching waves.
